Cindy Cheung debuts her solo show SPEAK UP CONNIE, at Stage Left Studio, 214 W. 30th St., 6th Fl. in New York from January 17 - 25, 2012.

La Mirada and McCoy Rigby are set to present the third show of their 2011-2012 season with the Los Angeles regional theatre premiere production of THE 39 STEPS, adapted by Patrick Barlow (based on the Alfred Hitchcock film) and directed by Jessica Kubzansky.

The Drama Desk and Obie Award-winning Ma-Yi Theatre Company - one of the country's leading Asian-American theater companies - in association with the Obie Award winning Vampire Cowboys Theatre Company present the Off-Broadway debut of Qui Nguyen's critically acclaimed comedy THE INEXPLICABLE REDEMPTION OF AGENT G. Preview performances begin February 7 prior to an official press opening of February 14 at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre (410 West 42nd Street) in Manhattan.

Director, teacher and actress Heidi Helen Davis known for her work in Los Angeles at the Theatricum Botanicum, Mark Taper Forum, East West Players and Ensemble Studio Theatre has died. She was 60. Ms. Davis died December 15th at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles after a yearlong struggle with breast cancer. Her son and ex-husband were by her side.
