Soprano Shirley Ritenour Tributes Late Diva Eileen Farrell at Merkin Hall, 12/5

Dramatic Soprano Shirley Ritenour will make her Merkin Concert Hall debut on December 5, 2010 in: 'Let My Song Fill Your Heart -Inspired by Eileen Farrell'. Broadway composer/director Barry Kleinbort directs Ms. Ritenour, and also contributes the premiere of 'The Dream is Done,' with music by Robert Farnon (the instrumental is known as 'Song For Eileen').

Citilites Theatre Presents MARRY ME A LITTLE 11/4-21

Join Citilites Theatre in a celebration of Stephen Sondheim's 80th birthday! We are producing the charming gem, MARRY ME A LITTLE at the Gaslight Theater (358 N. Boyle) November 4-21. Seth Ward Pyatt directs Laura Ernst and Scott Tripp who play two silly people alone on a Saturday night. The sung-through score includes some of Sondheim's most hummable tunes from Company, A Little Night Music, Follies, Saturday Night, A Funny Thing Happened On the Way to the Forum and more.

Gretchen Sings Janis Joplin’s 'Pearl' at Don't Tell Mamma 11/4

Nightlife, Bistro and MAC Award winning artist Gretchen Reinhagen and her all-girl band, led by Musical Director Tracy Stark, return to Don't Tell Mama(www.donttellmamanyc.com) in October with 'Gretchen Sings Janis Joplin's Pearl.' New Village Arts Theatre Presents INTO THE WOODS 9/22-10/31
