Martin Crimp returned to the Royal Court with his new work, 'Republic Of Happiness' which Dominic Cooke directs in the Jerwood Theatre Downstairs. Described as a "violent satire", the production opened on December 6 and features Anna Calder-Marshall, Emma Fielding, Seline Hizli, Ellie Kendrick, Stuart McQuarrie, Paul Ready, Michelle Terry, and Peter Wight.

Tamsin Greig returns to star as Hilary, the part for which she won universal acclaim at the Royal Court. Doon Mackichan also returns to play her best friend, Frances. Taking on class, gender and age, this contemporary production, from a female writer-director team, investigates the world we're living in and is shockingly funny. Beginning June 14, Underground Railway Theater and Suffolk University present the World Premiere of Car Talk: The Musical!!! with books, lyrics, and direction by Wesley Savick, and original music by Michael Wartofsky. The production runs from June 14 through August 12, 2012. The press performance for Car Talk: The Musical!!! is Monday, June 18 at 7:30PM.

Central Square Theater announces that Underground Railway Theater, one of the resident companies, has been awarded the rights to Katori Hall's The Mountaintop which finished an extended Broadway run in January. This production will now replace Tanya Barfield's Blue Door in the previously announced 2012-2013 Season.
