The Public Theater and International Rescue Committee announced today that a special free one-night-only Public Forum event, WELCOME HOME: A CELEBRATION OF WORLD REFUGEE DAY, will take place on Monday, June 20 at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park. Free Public Forum tickets will be distributed, two per person (age 5+), at the Delacorte Theater beginning at 12:00 p.m. on the day of the Forum.

REAL TIME WITH BILL MAHER continues its 12th season FRIDAY, OCT. 17 (10:00-11:00 p.m. live ET/tape-delayed PT), with a replay at midnight, exclusively on HBO. Allowing Maher to offer his unique perspective on contemporary issues, the show includes an opening monologue, roundtable discussions with panelists, and interviews with guests. NY Sen. The International Rescue Committee (IRC) hosted the 4th-Annual GenR Summer Party last night at David Burke Garden at The James Hotel in New York City. Laura Osnes joined TV Food Personality Eden Grinshpan, Chef KPE and actors Pasha Pellosie, Eric West and Sheetal Sheth to help raise funds and highlight the IRC's programs, both domestic and international, which empower refugees and people who have been displaced by conflict, political oppression, religious persecution or natural disaster and help them to rebuild their lives. International opera sensation Danielle de Niese is taking on a new role today, becoming an 'IRC Voice' to help the International Rescue Committee raise awareness of the needs of refugees and people who have been displaced by conflict, religious persecution or political oppression around the world. Danielle is the latest talent to become an 'IRC Voice,' joining a group of young, prominent artists including Morena Baccarin, Rashida Jones, John Legend, and Piper Perabo, who have all committed to do their part to speak up on behalf of some of the world's most vulnerable.
