HARLEM STAGE ON SCREEN presents SHUNGU by Saki Mafundikwa and Karen Mafundikwa

The smash hit musical Grease will end its triumphant West End run next spring prior to a UK tour. Grease returned to London on 25 July 2007 (with a press night on 8th August) and since its premiere the feel-good audience favourite has played over 1,300 performances and has been seen by over 1¼million theatregoers at the Piccadilly Theatre, where it is the longest running show in the venue's history. Grease will close on 30 April 2011 after nearly four electrifyin' years in the West End and will immediately begin a national tour opening at the Edinburgh Playhouse on 6 May 2011. After a recent national tour David Essex and All The Fun Of The Fair will make its West End Debut at London's Garrick Theatre previewing from 17 April and running until 5 September with press night on 28 April 2010.

The Quintet, a group lead by the pianist Aruán Ortiz, is inspired by eccletic influences such as Afro-Cuban music, jazz, contemporary classical composition and visual arts, etc. as the impetus for generating musical material. The idea of creating an ensemble that pushes boundaries and expands the language of the music from the foundation of jazz has been Aruán's goal since its beginning.

Previously playing Tuesday through Sunday, ALL THE FUN OF THE FAIR will now play Monday through Saturday, according to the production. The show will play Monday to Saturday at 7.30pm, with matinees Wednesday and Saturday at 3pm. All the Fun of the Fair previewed from 20 April at London's Garrick Theatre, with press night on 28 April and is running until 5 September 2010.

Grease celebrates its third electrifying Birthday this July with a new leading lady. The producers announced that Lauren Samuels will join the cast of the smash-hit musical on 26 July 2010. Making her West End debut, Lauren will star in the iconic role of 'Sandy' until 22 January 2011 at London's Piccadilly Theatre. Noel Sullivan will continue as 'Danny' and Siubhan Harrison will also join the show in the role of 'Rizzo'.
