Dances Patrele 20th Anniversary Celebration begins at Barnes & Nobel Lincoln Triangle, 1972 Broadway (at 65th Street) on Monday, April 13th at 7:00 pm. The Free event is a celebration, talk and CD/book signing in honor of the company's 20th Anniversary and the premiere of MURDER AT THE MASQUE.
Wide Eyed Productions will present a New York revival of Dale Wasserman's One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest at the Richmond-Shepard Theatre. Opening night is set for May 6th.
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest premiered on Broadway in 1963. Revivals include an Off-Broadway production in 1971 and the Steppenwolf Theatre Company's 2001 Broadway staging starring Gary Sinise, which received a Tony Award for Best Play Revival.
Dances Patrelle, 20th Repertory Season, will be presented April 16-19, 2009 at The Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College (68th Street between Park & Lexington Avenues) NYC. The diverse and exciting program celebrating 20 years of creativity will include 2 dramatic ballets by Francis Patrelle: a World Premiere as well as a past dance classic staged by Cynthia Gregory.
On Monday, May 5th at 7:00PM the creative team of The Really Big Pirate Show! will present a reading at the 411 Theatre Space at 300 West 43rd Street in Manhattan in another step towards a planned Broadway run.
