Blessed Unrest (Jessica Burr, Artistic Director) presents Aleksandr Ostrovsky's The Storm April 13 through May 7, 2012 at the Interart Theatre (500 West 52nd Street). Jessica Burr, the 2011 recipient of the League of Professional Theatre Women's Lucille Lortel Award, will direct from a new translation and adaptation by Laura Wickens.

Dance/theater company anna&meredith presents GORMANZEE & Other Stories, an evening of dance, theater, and puppetry with live music. The evening features BILL IT, a kinetic portrait of the restaurant industry, POPULATION: 2, the story of the two remaining residents of a Midwestern ghost town, and GORMANZEE, a macabre puppet comedy exploring ritualistic primate slaughter, premiering at Spoke the Hub, 295 Douglass St., Gowanus, Brooklyn. On July 21, 2008, the IT Awards (New York Innovative Theatre Awards), the organization dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, announced the 2008 nominees at a standing-room only event at 'Our Lady of Pompeii' located at 25 Carmine Street. The 2008 Nominees were selected from an adjudication pool of over 3,000 artists. Nominees include 127 individual artists, 47 different productions and 40 theatre companies.
