All of the GLEE students who are currently juniors within the show's plot will be graduating at the end of next season, the show's creator confirmed today. 'We didn't want to have a show where they were in high school for eight years,' Ryan Murphy told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show. 'We really wanted to be true to that experience.'
According to published reports, GLEE creator Ryan Murphy will soon tie the know with his long-time partner. Murphy told Ryan Seacrest on KIIS-FM radio, 'I'm with a great fellow now who I've known for 15 years. We just got engaged and I'm very excited about it!'

GLEE creator Ryan Murphy has just announced that six new writers have joined the show's writing team for season three. The new additions to the staff include: Allison Adler, Marti Noxon, Michael Hitchcock, Matt Hodgson, Ross Maxwell, and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, who just finished working on SPIDER-MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK.

During last night's series debut of Oxygen's 'The Glee Project,' the 12 contenders performed an energetic rendition of Katy Perry's mega-hit 'Firework.' Under the tutelage of 'Glee' guest mentor Darren Criss ('Glee's' Blaine), the group was coached on the theme of ‘Individuality' and how to stand out while being true to your personality. At the conclusion of the premiere episode, 'Glee' hopeful Bryce Ross-Johnson (22) of Westlake Village, CA was the first contender to be eliminated. Bryce was tasked with performing Bruno Mars' 'Just the Way You Are' for 'Glee' creator Ryan Murphy as a last chance - but the show must go on! The remaining 11 contenders will face their next ‘Glee'-inspired challenge on Sunday, June 19th at 9pm ET/PT, only on Oxygen.

The original production of A CHORUS LINE grew out of workshops organized by director/choreographer Michael Bennett where dancers and performers discussed the various joys and hardships of a life spent pursuing the stage as an occupation. James Kirkwood, Jr. and Nicholas Dante pieced together these elements to form a compelling story focusing on the anxieties facing a group of dancers auditioning to be in the chorus of a Broadway show, while Marvin Hamlisch (music) and Edward Kleban put their tales to a catchy score that's still decidedly hummable. Stages St. Louis opens their 25th season with this timeless masterpiece, and it's a dazzling production filled with wonderful performances, nurtured by the excellent work of director Michael Hamilton and choreographer Kim Shriver, who neatly recreate the original magic.
There comes a moment, very early on in Kate Adams-Johnson's A Chorus Line (which opened last night at The Keeton Theatre) in which, one by one, each of the actors is caught in the spotlight, with some portentous musical underscoring that heightens the emotional impact of the moment. But what's really telling about that sequence of illumination is how evocatively it telegraphs the stories of each of the actors in the cast. You can tell, almost imperceptibly, what it is that separates the pretenders from the contenders...
