Erwin Redl's WHITEOUT Takes Up Residency in Madison Square Park This Fall

Madison Square Park Conservancy is proud to announce its thirty-fifth exhibition, Whiteout by artist Erwin Redl. The project features a luminous white carpet of LED lights across Madison Square Park's central Oval Lawn, on view from November 16, 2017 through April 15, 2018.   

Henry Christensen III Retires as Chairman of TFANA's Board

Theatre for a New Audience has announced the retirement of Henry Christensen III as Chairman of the Theatre's Board, a position he has held since 2012, due to health reasons. Theodore C. Rogers and Robert Buckholz will succeed Mr. Christensen as TFANA's Chairman and Vice Chairman, respectively. Mr. Christensen will continue as a member of the Board of Directors.

NORMA to Open The Metropolitan Opera's 133rd Season

The Metropolitan Opera will open its 133rd season on Monday, September 25 with a new production of Bellini's bel canto tragedy Norma. Soprano Sondra Radvanovsky returns to the Met as one of the world's leading interpreters of Norma, singing her first season opening performances.
