While its strong language and sometimes disturbing subject matter may not be for everyone, I cannot recommend this production enough. It's raw, it's edgy, and its sentiment towards the responsibility of art makes 'The Pillowman' an enthralling watch.

A spellbinding drama with pitch dark humor about a writer accused of perpetrating the very acts depicted in his murderous stories. The Pillowman is a vicious whirlpool of dazzling storytelling at the hysterical edge of creepy and encroaching, despair and doom.

In this isolated landscape, he develops a friendship with an enigmatic treesitter and is soon caught in the struggle between those who make their living cutting timber and those who risk their lives to preserve nature.
