Jackman And Craig Led A STEADY RAIN Showing Strong Advance Ticket Sales

Variety is reporting that A STEADY RAIN starring Daniel Craig and Hugh Jackman is already looking like a winner. The trade paper reports that industry insiders are 'buzzing' about the whopping $3 million in advance sales solely from the initial pre-sale offer for American Express cardholders. Tickets for the general public are not available until July 25th. The Amex pre-sale launched Saturday.

Directed by Tony Award nominee John Crowley, A STEADY RAIN begins previews on Thursday, September 10, 2009 and opens Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street) for a strictly limited 12 week engagement through Sunday, December 6, 2009.

It will open Thursday June 4th at 8 p.m. and run Thursday through Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 7 p.m. Tickets are $18 on Thursday and Sunday, $20 on Friday, and $22 on Saturday.
