Theater for the New City has announced that following its sold-out, critically-acclaimed run as part of the DreamUp New Plays Festival, Keep Your Baggage With You (at all times), written by Jonathan Blitstein and directed by Daniel Talbott, will return for an extension beginning Thursday, September 16 at 7pm and running through Tuesday, September 28. Keep Your Baggage With You (at all times) plays at Theater for the New City, 155 First Avenue, between 9th and 10th Streets. Told in seven scenes taking place over several years Keep Your Baggage With You (at all times) traces the devolution of a friendship between two young New York men whose bonds are compromised by the stresses of career, family, relationships, and 21st century sexual mores in a complex digital age in which we ask too many questions, but don't have enough answers.

LA MIRADA THEATRE FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS & MC COY RIGBY ENTERTAINMENT are thrilled to present Marilu Henner, who will be reprising her critically-acclaimed Broadway performance as Lee Green and Caroline Aaron will star as Marjorie Taub in a newly-revised version of Charles Busch's hilarious Broadway hit, THE TALE OF THE ALLERGIST'S WIFE, directed by Jeff Maynard (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee). THE TALE OF THE ALLERGIST'S WIFE will open October 1 and run through Sunday, October 17 at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, 14900 La Mirada Blvd in La Mirada. Musical Theatre West has announced that Andrea McArdle, Broadway's original Annie, will star as Miss Hannigan in its upcoming production of ANNIE at the beautiful 1070-seat Carpenter Performing Arts Center in Long Beach. ANNIE previews October 29th and runs October 30th through November 14th. On August 29, Aaron Lazar will play his last performance as Count Carl-Magnus Malcolm in A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC. Lazar's previous credits include LES MISERABLES, A TALE OF TWO CITIES, and THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA.

BroadwayWorld has confirmed that Bradley Dean (Spamalot, Company, The Story of My Life, Man of La Mancha) will replace Aaron Lazar as Count Carl-Magnus Malcolm in A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC on August 31, 2010. Dean has understudied Lazar throughout the production in addition to playing the role of servant Frid. Lazar will play his last performance on August 29. Stephen R. Buntrock, who has played Mr. Lindquist since the show's opening will step into the role of Frid, while Ben Davis will join the company as the new Mr. Lindquist.
