James Beard Award Nominee and one of Food & Wine magazine's 'Best New Chefs,' Stephanie Izard, will be the official chef of the second annual CMT ARTISTS OF THE YEAR event, it was announced today by John Hamlin, Senior Vice President, Music Events and Talent for CMT.

Taylor Swift will receive the 2011 Harmony Award, Symphony Ball Chairs Mrs. Steven Eskind (Laurie) and Mrs. Bennett Frederick Horne Jr. (Vicki) announced today. The four-time GRAMMY winner, reigning Billboard Top 200 Albums Artist and Academy of Country Music and Entertainment Weekly Entertainer of the Year will be presented the award at the 27th annual Symphony Ball on Saturday, December 10, 2011, at Schermerhorn Symphony Center.

Topping the list of final nominees are four artists with five nominations each for 'The 45th Annual CMA Awards' including Jason Aldean, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton, and Taylor Swift. Right on their heels are The Band Perry and Zac Brown Band, who each received four nominations as a group while individual members Kimberly Perry (of The Band Perry), Coy Bowles and Zac Brown (of Zac Brown Band) each earned a solo nod as a songwriter.

Broadway legend Mandy Patinkin and opera superstar Nathan Gunn combine their vocal talents to create a unique and powerful evening at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 31, in the pavilion. Featured in People magazine's 2008 list of 'The Sexiest Men Alive,' baritone Gunn has performed in opera houses around the world and last appeared at Ravinia in the festival's production of Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro. Tony and Emmy award-winner Patinkin has appeared in the Broadway productions of Evita, Sunday in the Park with George, The Wild Party, The Winter's Tale and The Knife, as well as in CBS's Chicago Hope and Criminal Minds. They will be joined by pianists Julie Gunn and Paul Ford.

Rod Stewart returned to Las Vegas today and was welcomed with a fan-packed Rock & Roll celebration to kick off his new residency at Caesars Palace, appropriately titled, Rod Stewart: The Hits. Stewart arrived at the famed Garden of the Gods pool oasis in a classic car as a group of world-class synchronized swimmers kicked into an homage performance to his song 'Hot Legs.'

Chenoweth has had an extraordinarily diverse career. In November 2010 she was inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame for her achievements. She won a Tony Award for her role as Sally Brown in the Broadway musical You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown, and is also celebrated for originating the role of Glinda in Wicked. In 2010, she appeared as Fran Kubelik in Promises, Promises alongside Sean Hayes.
She won an Emmy Award for her performance as Olive Snook in the television dramedy Pushing Daisies. Chenoweth is best known on TV for playing Annabeth Schott in The West Wing, and most recently as April Rhodes in GLEE, a role for which she was Emmy-nominated last year. In that role, she was able to use her multi-faceted voice on covers like 'Last Name' (Carrie Underwood) and 'Alone' (Heart). This season she reprised her role singing 'Dreams' (Fleetwood Mac). She also had her own TV series, Kristin. Her film credits include Bewitched, The Pink Panther, Running With Scissors, Stranger Than Fiction, Four Christmases and RV.
Next, Chenoweth will star as Carlene Cockburn in the new ABC drama series, Good Christian Belles, alongside Leslie Bibb, David James Elliott, and Annie Potts
