The producers of HAIR announced today that the new Broadway production, which opened March 31st to critical (and audience) acclaim, has set a new box office record at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street). For the week of April 13 ? 19, HAIR?s net sales were $861,450.48, the highest for any eight-show week at the 1,400 seat theater, which opened in 1924.
