DreamWorks Theatricals and Broadway Across America today announced that they have partnered to launch 'MADAGASCAR LIVE,' DreamWorks Theatricals' first-ever live family touring show. The production is expected to visit over 70 cities across the United States beginning in January 2011. The brand new stage show aimed at family audiences stars the cast of popular characters from the beloved 'Madagascar' film series, including Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, Gloria the Hippo and members of the madcap Madagascar crew, King Julien and the crafty Penguins.

The winner of four 2010 Tony awards including Best Musical, MEMPHIS celebrated its one year anniversary on Broadway Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at the Shubert Theatre and again on Sunday, October 17 at B.B. King.

HAIR: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical, will play the San Diego Civic Theatre for a limited engagement, Tuesday October 18 through Sunday October 23, 2011; as a Broadway/San Diego ~ A Nederlander Presentation. The five-time Tony Award®-nominated smash-hit musical ROCK OF AGES will be rocking Boston's Colonial Theatre for a limited two-week engagement October 6 - 17, 2010.

On Sunday, October 17th, Egads Theatre is having a Halloween Party at the Beer Kitchen on the south east corner of Westport & Pennsylvania in Westport from 8 to midnight. A $5 donation at the door earn you admittance to the party which includes a costume contest with a $100 first prize and tickets to Egads' EVIL DEAD: THE MUSICAL. There will be music provided by DJ BoyFriend and live performances by the cast, auction items, raffles and prizes as well as drink specials and a full menu. The touring production of the smash hit Broadway revival of WEST SIDE STORY, set to tour North America beginning this fall, will open at Detroit's Fisher Theatre, Sept. 30 - Oct. 16, 2010.

MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET announced that Lesley Gore has rescheduled her special performance with the cast of the Tony nominated Best Musical for Thursday evening, October 28 at the Nederlander Theatre (208 West 41st Street). Gore had been announced for an earlier performance, but had to postpone.
