THE SCOTTSBORO BOYS will receive Actors' Equity Association's Advisory Committee on Chorus Affairs (ACCA) Fifth Annual ACCA Award for Outstanding Broadway Chorus. The honor is the only industry accolade of its kind and honors the distinctive talents and contributions made by the original chorus members of a Broadway musical. The award will be presented in the Actors' Equity Association Council Room, overlooking Times Square, on Friday, November 18, 2011.

Broadway's new musical comedy, Lysistrata Jones, will begin preview performances this Saturday, November 12 at 8:00pm at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 W 48th Street). Written by Tony nominee Douglas Carter Beane and Lewis Flinn and directed and choreographed by Tony nominee Dan Knechtges, Lysistrata Jones will officially open on December 14, 2011.

The tour of the smash hit Broadway revival of WEST SIDE STORY is coming to SAN JOSE. WEST SIDE STORY will open at the SAN JOSE CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS on Tuesday, January 17, 2012. Tony Award-winning librettist Arthur Laurents' Broadway direction will be recreated for the tour by David Saint, the Associate Director on Broadway. Disney Theatrical Productions and Hennepin Theatre Trust announced today that single tickets for the highly anticipated return engagement of Disney's The Lion King, running January 11 through February 12, 2012 at the Orpheum Theatre, will go on sale to the public at 8 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 4, 2011. From 8 to 10 a.m., tickets will only be available in person at the State Theatre Box Office.
