Society of Voice Arts & Sciences (SOVAS) hosted the 2017 Voice Arts Awards at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Fredrick P. Rose Hall this past Sunday, November 5th. Critically acclaimed documentary film maker Ken Burns was in attendance to accept the prestigious Muhammad Ali Voice of Humanity Honor.

Screen Actors Guild today announced the results of elections for its top two elected positions and National Board. Ken Howard has been re-elected for a second term as Screen Actors Guild president, and Amy Aquino will continue in her role as secretary-treasurer. Both will serve two-year terms, beginning September 25.

Adult Swim's Robot Chicken returns to that galaxy far, far away for a brand-new Star Wars-themed special premiering December 12 at 11:30 p.m. (ET/PT). This third installment in the Robot Chicken: Star Wars trilogy follows the two previous specials, which resulted in multiple Emmy nominations and numerous Annie Awards for both specials and the writers Ahmed Best and Seth Green. Robot Chicken: Star Wars Episode III, to be directed by Chris McKay, marries the satirical sensibilities of Green and Matthew Senreich's (Stoopid Monkey Productions) Emmy-winning Robot Chicken with characters of the Star Wars universe. The specials and the Robot Chicken series, the highest-rated original program on Adult Swim, are created in conjunction with ShadowMachine Films' Alex Bulkley and Corey Campodonico.

Cabrillo Music Theatre, the Ovation Award-winning Resident Musical Production Company of the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, is proud to announce that all performances of HAPPY DAYS, A New Musical will be dedicated to the memory of Tom Bosley. At an Opening Night reception, Producer Garry Marshall and musical icon Paul Williams will pay tribute to this great man of television, film and theatre. Also there to celebrate and pay tribute will be Producer Arnold Margolin, Writer/Producer Ed Scharlach, Actor Scott Baio ('Chachi'), Actress Cathy Silvers ('Jenny Piccalo'), at a VIP reception prior to the Opening Night Performance of HAPPY DAYS, A New Musical, on Friday, October 22 beginning at 5:30pm. Additionally, Mr. Marshall will address the opening night audience with some thoughts and remembrances of the wonderfully talented 'Mr. C.'
