The two shows, tonight, August 24 and tomorrow night August 25 at 10:00 PM, will help celebrate her new CD "Something Cool."

There will be room for nostalgia and delirium, for song, for emerging talent and a first this year, an all-electro night. Featuring Bon Jovi, Johnny Hallyday, The Offspring, Vincent Vallieres, Metric, Skrillex, Patrick Watson, Sarah McLachlan, Radio Radio, Aerosmith, Beirut, Ariane Moffatt, The Barr Brothers, LMFAO, Mastodon, Grimskunk, Inna Modja, City and Colour, Big Boi, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Oliver Mtukudzi and dozens more, July 5-15.

Ford's Theatre Society on June 3, hosted its annual black-tie gala at Ford's Theatre (511 10th Street NW). The evening included the presentation of the Lincoln Medal to Morgan Freeman and Elie Wiesel, two individuals whose extraordinary character, accomplishments and life work reflect Lincoln's legacy of leadership, service, humanity, wisdom, eloquence and vision.
