Evidence, A Dance Company paid tribute to the life and legacy of Beth Young, a dance enthusiast and long-time supporter of Evidence, A Dance Company, and recognized Goldman, Sachs & Co. and, Valentino D. Carlotti for supporting the arts and community outreach at The Torch Ball on March 25 at New York City's The Plaza Hotel. Chicago debut with 'Orange Flower Water' on Saturday, May 11 at Raven Theatre, 6157 N. Clark Street. BareBones Theatre Group is presenting this as a co-production with Interrobang Theatre Project, and will merge together for the 2013-14 season. Founder and Artistic Director of BareBones Theatre Group and co-Artistic Director of Interrobang Theatre Project James Yost directs 'Orange Flower Water' running Thursday through Saturdays and 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3:30 p.m. until June 9. Actress Emily Bergl opens the fall season of the Oak Room at the historic Algonquin Hotel with her cabaret, 'Kidding on the Square.' She will be accompanied by Jonathan Mastro, composer and musical director of the hit revival of 'Our Town,' directed by David Cromer. Ms. Bergl starred as Beth Young on ABC's 'Desperate Housewives,' and currently plays Tammi Bryant on TNT's 'Southland.' She most recently appeared on the New York stage in Nora Ephron's 'Love, Loss and What I Wore,' and in Second Stage's 'Becky Shaw,' and has starred in several Broadway productions.
