The Flynn Center for the Performing Arts will present MAMMA MIA! on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at 2:30 PM on the Mainstage.

Dallas Theater Center launches its 2011-2012 season with Shakespeare's beloved final play, The Tempest, at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre at the AT&T Performing Arts Center Sept. 9 - Oct. 9.

According to the Dallas Theater Center's website, Hunter Ryan Herdlicka has been cast as in the Center's upcoming production of THE TEMPEST as Ariel.

Scott Barbarino and the Iridium Jazz Club will welcome Back Kat Gang and the Nate Mayland Quartet on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at 9pm at the Iridium Jazz Club

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of 9/11, The Flea Theater (Jim Simpson, Artistic Director; Carol Ostrow, Producing Director) will present special performances of Anne Nelson's THE GUYS at various venues in Lower Manhattan including the Museum of Jewish Heritage (for the FDNY) and Goldman Sachs.

Philly's Broadway dreams will come true for the thirdconsecutive summer when The Broadway Dreams Foundation (BDF) partners with The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts to present their Summer Performing Arts Intensive August 1 through Sunday, August 7, 2011. Acclaimed theatrical director and producer Richard Jay-Alexander and a roster of Broadway veterans will work with aspiring young performers from the Philadelphia area throughout the week in preparation for 'True Colors,' a one of a kind Broadway concert open to the public. Acting coach David Legrant, whose career in the entertainment industry spanned nearly six decades, has passed away. He was 87 years old.
