Signature Theatre will present the world premiere of Really Really by Paul Downs Colaizzo.

Alley Theatre Artistic Director Gregory Boyd announces the cast and creative team for the Alley Theatre's production of the 2010 Best Play Tony Award Winner, Red.

Two new plays, penned by two young playwrights will be presented as a double bill at the Ruskin Group Theatre. Following in their parent's vocational footsteps, and teaming up for a limited run with this world premiere production, the duo will have their work staged for the very first time.

The Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle has announced the winners and special awards for excellence in Los Angeles and Orange County theatre for the year 2011. The 43rd Annual Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Awards ceremony took place Monday, March 19 at A Noise Within in Pasadena, and was co-hosted by Jason Graae and Lesli Margherita.

Cynthia Silver, the unwitting star of the inaugural season of FOX TV and WE Network's hit series 'Bridezillas', returns to the stage with her award-winning Reality TV expose BRIDEZILLA STRIKES BACK! Co-written by Kenny Finkle, this cautionary tale was awarded Outstanding Solo Show at the 2005 New York International Fringe Festival. This newly updated version, directed by Paul Urcioli, begins previews April 21 with opening slated for April 28.

Tragedians of the City make their premiere outing with an all-male version of ROMEO AND JULIET, William Shakespeare's tale of young passion, directed by Anya Saffir.

The Old Globe just began performances for Anna Christie, Eugene O'Neill's masterpiece about the knotty relationship between an old sailor and his estranged daughter. The production is directed by Daniel Goldstein, who is currently represented on Broadway with the hit revival of Godspell. Anna Christie will run through April 15, 2012 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run through March 14. Atlantic Theater Company's world premiere production of Gabe McKinley's play CQ/CX, directed by Tony Award® nominee David Leveaux closes March 11, 2012 at the Peter Norton Space (555 West 42nd Street between 10th and 11th Avenue) while Atlantic's main stage continues its renovation.

The Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle's 43rd Annual Awards Show will take place on Monday, March 19, 2012 at A Noise Within in Pasadena. The show will feature performances from previously-announced hosts Jason Graae (recipient of the 2007 Joel Hirschhorn Award for outstanding achievement in musical theatre) and Lesli Margherita (nominee for Kiss Me, Kate). In addition, the Awards show will feature the Los Angeles premiere performance of My Husband, by Paul Rudnick, a short play added to the New York production of Standing on Ceremony: The Gay Marriage Plays. Also, Yvette Tucker and Salvatore Vasallo will perform an excerpt from "Slaughter on Tenth Avenue," from On Your Toes, choreographed by this year's Hirschhorn Award recipient, Lee Martino.

Felicity Huffman and William H. Macy yesterday became the second married couple to receive a Hollywood Walk of Fame star on the same day (following producers Richard and Lauren Shuler Donner in 2008). Atlantic Theater Company presented their annual Spring Gala Bring It On Home last night, March 5, 2012 at the Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers - an evening of soul music celebrating the upcoming re-opening of the company's newly renovated Linda Gross main stage theater.

Michi Barral, Cindy Cheung, Joel de la Fuente, Angel Desai, Ann Harada, Jennifer Ikeda, Paul Juhn, Peter Kim, Ken Leung, Li Jun Li, Jennifer Lim, Angela Lin, Paolo Montalban, Olivia Oguma, Jon Norman Schneider, Thom Sesma, Sab Shimono, Jade Wu, Jonny Wo, James Yaegashi and Stacey Yen will be featured in Shinsai: Theaters for Japan, a two performance benefit to raise funds that will go directly to Japanese theater artists devastated by last year's great earthquake (Shinsai). Shinsai: Theaters for Japan, will be performed this Sunday, March 11 at 3pm and 8pm at the Great Hall at Cooper Union (Seventh Street at Third Avenue).
