Opening the 2009-2010 Season at American Heartland Theatre is the wonderfully funny and spooky production I'll Be Back Before Midnight. Somewhere between Agatha Christie and a Hitchcock thriller, this show has audiences laughing out loud one moment and gasping in horror the next.

Acclaimed stage and screen actor, Ben Hammer, will pay Cape May Stage Audiences a welcome visit in the award-winning Visiting Mr. Green by popular playwright Jeff Baron. Broadway veteran Hammer will be joined by up-and-comer Peter Sabri with both actors reprising their roles as Mr. Green and Ross, respectively.

Broadway In Chicago is excited to announce Tony Award winners Roger Bart and Shuler Hensley will reprise the roles of Dr. Frederick Frankenstein and The Monster in the first national tour of The New Mel Brooks Musical Young Frankenstein. Carole Gaunt, author of the new hit Off-Broadway play Dance of the Seven Headed Mouse, will lead a discussion and book signing Today, July 1 at 5 pm at the Drama Book Shop, 240 West 40th Street. Gaunt will be signing copies of her best-selling memoir Hungry Hill.

Broadway and film producer Dann Conrad Byck Jr., who stepped down from his family retail business to pursue his lifelong passion for theater, died Tuesday at the Louisville home of his daughter, Amy Byck. He was 72.
