Back by popular demand, THE BOOK OF MORMON, which played a record breaking one week run in 2015 returns to Winnipeg for a limited engagement September 27 - October 2 at the Centennial Concert Hall.

New tickets have been released for the Australian premiere of The Book of Mormon at Melbourne's Princess Theatre. Due to popular demand the award-winning musical written by South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone and Avenue Q and Frozen co-creator Robert Lopez is now booking until 9 April 2017. 

Following the news that HAMILTON's original stars will see a share of the blockbuster musical's takings, the company of Broadway's SHUFFLE ALONG has won profit-sharing participation of its own.

The upcoming Broadway revival of Ben Hecht and Charles MacArthur's dark comedy The Front Page has welcomed another stage vet to the fold.

A re-imagined version of the 1921 musical SHUFFLE ALONG, one of the earliest stage hits starring, written and directed by African-Americans, opens tonight, April 28, on Broadway at the Music Box Theatre.

NBC has announced that on Monday, April 18 Michelle Williams will stop by TODAY to talk about starring in the Broadway drama BLACKBIRD.

THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards® including Best Musical, has broken the house record in Knoxville, TN for the week ending April 10 at the Tennessee Theatre grossing $963,482.00 for a standard 8-performance week. 

On last night's LATE NIGHT, guest Savion Glove talked about choreographing the new Broadway musical SHUFFLE ALONG.

There were no original cast albums in 1921, so this scene by scene synopsis of the original SHUFFLE ALONG is augmented by various recordings of songs from the score.

Legendary scenic and costume designer, MICHAEL YEARGAN (currently represented on Broadway with Fiddler on the Roof and The King and I), and costume designer SUSAN TSU are among the 2016 TDF/Irene Sharaff Awards recipients. The awards will be presented at a ceremony on Friday, May 20, at 6:30pm, at the Edison Ballroom (240 West 47th Street).  Ms. Tsu was selected to receive the 2016 TDF/Irene Sharaff Lifetime Achievement Award for costume design and Mr. Yeargan will receive the Robert L.B. Tobin Award for Sustained Excellence in Theatrical Design. The awards are presented through Theatre Development Fund's Costume Collection.

We've got some headline news this evening! 'Front page' news, even. According to the Chicago Tribune, Broadway veteran Nathan Lane and MAD MEN star John Slattery have signed on to lead a new Broadway revival of Ben Hecht and Charles MacArthur's play THE FRONT PAGE this fall.

?THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, is pleased to announce a lottery ticket policy for the National Tour, which begins March 29 at the Aronoff Center and plays a limited one week engagement through April 3, 2016. In Cincinnati, the production will conduct a pre-show lottery at the box office, making a limited number of tickets available at $25 apiece.

All available seats for the newly-added Friday, April 1 performance of SHUFFLE ALONGhave been priced at $40. This performance ends a previously planned four-day hiatus period of the production. The producers of SHUFFLE ALONG are offering this low-priced ticket as a thank you to the musical's enthusiastic fans who lined up outside the Music Box Theatre's box office from Monday, March 21 to Thursday, March 24 for the chance to purchase same-day $40 rush tickets, but who were unable to do so since those performances were cancelled as a result of the illness of Audra McDonald, one of the musical's stars.
