Rehearsals are underway for the brand new musical Bandstand, directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Andy Blankenbuehler (Hamilton). The musical begins performances Friday, March 31 prior to an official opening night on Wednesday, April 26 at Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre (242 West 45 Street). Bandstand features music by Richard Oberacker and a book and lyrics by Robert Taylor and Richard Oberacker.

A pair of fresh Andrew Lloyd Webber musicals, a couple of critically-acclaimed, Tony Award-winning revivals, plus Broadway's biggest hit of the century (hint: Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote it) will all be a part of the spectacular 2017-2018 Broadway season at Orange County's Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa.  Moments before the curtain went up on the Broadway revival of Sunset Boulevard, starring Glenn Close, the stars of Andrew Lloyd Webber's productions came together to celebrate the legendary composer's historic achievement of having four musicals running simultaneously on Broadway with a commemorative photo.

#EduHam is a series of HAMILTON Wednesday matinees made available to New York City schools with a high concentration of students from low-income families for the ticket price of only $10. This educational partnership, made possible through a $1.46 million grant by The Rockefeller Foundation, is not only providing 20,000 NYC public school students with the opportunity to see HAMILTON on Broadway, but provides educational material by Gilder Lehrman to incorporate material from the musical into the American History curriculum.

This just in! HAMILTON producer Jeffrey Seller announced that the Broadway production will double the number of $10 seats available for each performance at the Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 W. 46 St. in NYC) starting January 31, 2017.

OKC Broadway has just announced that its 2018-19 season will include the Broadway smash hit, HAMILTON. Dates for the national tour stop have not yet been announced.
