The world premiere of Andrew Hinderaker's SUICIDE, INCORPORATED, directed by Jonathan Berry, featuring Gift Artistic Director and ABC's Private Practice's Michael Patrick Thornton, will run June 10th-July 25th with a special 'Come Closer' Performance on Sunday July 18th. The Gift Theatre is located at 4802 N. Milwaukee.

Chicago's American Theater Company has announced that it will feature 30 short plays in its 25th Anniversary Season for its Silver Project. The plays will be written by some of the United States' most acclaimed playwrights, including Tony Award winners Greg Kotis and David Henry Hwang, Joel Drake Johnson, Neil LaBute, and Pulitzer Prize nominee Craig Lucas.
Chicago Dramatists announced today that Resident Playwright Lydia Diamond's play Stick Fly was nominated for 5 LA Stage Alliance Ovation Awards (including Best Production, Director, Ensemble, Lighting and Scenic) and Resident Playwright Keith Huff's play The Bird and Mr. Banks was also nominated for Ovation Awards for Best Actor for Sam Anderson (Bernard on 'Lost') and Best Sound Design.
