On Monday night, January 20, 2014 BroadwayWorld.com kicked off our 10th anniversary celebration with a benefit for BC/EFA entitled BroadwayWorld.com Visits Oz. In celebration of Michael Urie's birthday, we bring you a special clip of his performance. A longtime friend to BroadwayWorld.com, during his sold-out run of BUYER & CELLAR, he made time to come to JOE'S PUB to be part of our 10th Anniversary. At the event, he performed a special piece, written by BUYER & CELLAR Playwright's Jonathan Tolins, entitled MY PASSION FOR OZ.

They aren't the only ones with love for The Wiz though. Tina Fey, Tituss Burgess, Kristin Chenoweth, Rachel Crow, Antwone Fisher, Sutton Foster, Megan Hilty, Janice Huff, Jane Krakowski, Alec Mapa, Andrea McArdle, Patina Miller, Rosie O'Donnell, Caroline Rhea, Charlene Tilton are among the names who will take the stage to support youth in foster care at a special benefit show, VOICES FOR THE VOICELESS: Stars For Foster Kids. The event will take place tonight, June 29th at 7PM at The St. James Theatre, 246 West 44th Street.

The Media Theatre's Broadway Series starts up again in September, but until then several professional actors who have appeared on its stage will headline the classic rock and roll musical 'The Who's Tommy' in July and August.

Danielle Hope brought her one-woman show, BRING THE FUTURE FASTER back to 54 Below to celebrate the release of her new live album which was recorded at the club back in February, and BroadwayWorld was on hand to snap photos from the evening. Check them out below!

Author and Broadway personality Seth Rudetsky will be joined by Broadway favorites Julia Murney (Wicked), Priscilla Lopez (In The Heights), and more who will be reading excerpts from Seth's Broadway Diary, tonight, June 3rd from 6:00 - 7:00PM. The Tony Awards Pop-Up Shop is located at the Paramount Hotel and is open daily to visitors.

The Philadelphia Music Alliance (PMA) today announced that The Roots, Ray Benson of Asleep at the Wheel, Cinderella, The Trammps, Andrea McArdle, and WOGL air personality Harvey Holiday will be added to the Philadelphia Music Walk of Fame as members of its Class of 2015. The new honorees - along with previously announced Billie Holiday - have 16 Grammy Awards and a Tony Award nomination among them. They will be formally inducted together October 26, 2015 during afternoon ceremonies along the Avenue of the Arts and celebrated that evening with a special grand gala event. The PMA will be working in conjunction with Avenue of the Arts, Inc., to make all of its fall events extra special.
