Allison Blackwell, Hugh Panaro & More to Join Philly POPS for Memorial Day Concert

On Memorial Day weekend, the POPS and the Mann Center for the Performing Arts will present Memorial Salute, Philadelphia's first major Memorial Day concert. The concert, on Saturday, May 28 at 7p.m., will honor the American tradition of service and celebrate all those who serve, with 2,000 complimentary tickets provided to veterans, active military, Philadelphia police officers and firefighters, and their families. Additional tickets have been made available to select School District of Philadelphia students, Boy and Girl Scouts.

Philly POPS Sets New Memorial Day Concert

?The Philly POPS announced its summer line-up today: A new Memorial Day concert at the Mann Center for the Performing Arts will honor veterans and the military and the annual free Independence Day Weekend show will entertain tens of thousands of Philadelphians and visitors.

Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Announces March Programming

March with the GRAMMY Award-winning Atlanta Symphony Orchestra will begin with conductor Marc Piollet leading the Orchestra in Brahms' Symphony No. 4 and Sibelius' Violin Concerto performed by violin virtuoso Augustin Hadelich on March 3 and 5, 2016, 8:00 p.m., Atlanta Symphony Hall.

We have a feeling Broadway fans are going to love the 2016 Boston Pops season, running May 6-June 18, under the direction of conductor Keith Lockhart. Featuring classic Boston Pops programming, including film scores of the silver screen, ballads from Broadway and the great American Songbook, classic rock anthems, and a Gospel Night spectacular, along with an impressive lineup of Boston Pops debuts, new programs that spotlight the best of the worlds of dance and puppetry, and the return of last year's audience favorite -- Pops On Demand: You Choose the Tunes -- the lineup features a slew of Broadway talent, including Sutton Foster, Mandy Patinkin, and Marin Mazzie & Jason Danieley.

At 7 p.m. on Monday evening, March 2, with every seat in Jazz at Lincoln Center's Rose Theater occupied, almost 400 chorus members from 7 to 18 from the Young People's Chorus of New York City streamed on stage and filled the balcony boxes above. Joining them was the evening's host, Broadway star Norm Lewis, and in the pit YPC Artistic Director Francisco J.
