DEEP Arts in association with The New York Musical Theatre Festival presents the NY Premiere of Moses Man with book & lyrics by Deborah Haber and music by Casey Filiaci, directed by Michael Bush. The show will be feature choreography by Wendy Seyb with musical direction by Don Kot. Moses Man will play from July 8-13, 2015 at the Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street). New Musical NAPOLEON to Play NYMF

The New York Musical Theatre Festival and Napoleon Ventures Ltd. are pleased to announce the New York premiere of five performances of the re-imagined musical production of Andrew Sabiston and Timothy William's Napoleon during the week of July 15th to July 22nd at the Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at the Pershing Square Signature Center.

MANUEL VERSUS THE STATUE OF LIBERTY Set for NYMF

Mannyville LLC and Dramatic Question Theatre in association with the New York Musical Theatre Festival will present the premiere of Manuel versus The Statue of Liberty with book by Noemi de la Puente, music by David Davila & Howard Post, Lyrics by Noemi de la Puente & David Davila with direction by Jose Zayas, choreography by Sidney Erik Wright and musical direction by Karl Hedrick. The new musical will play at the 2015 NYMF from July 21 -27 at the Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street).

John Tartaglia to Direct CLAUDIO QUEST: A SUPER NEW MUSICAL at NYMF

CLAUDIO QUEST, a super new musical, receives its New York premiere this July as part of the 2015 New York Musical Theatre Festival. With a book, music and lyrics Drew Fornarola and Marshall Pailet and direction by Tony Award nominee John Tartaglia (Avenue Q), CLAUDIO QUEST begins performances July 7, 2015 at the Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at the Pershing Square Signature Theatre and runs through July 14, 2015.  Individual tickets go on sale Monday, June 15 and can be purchased at www.claudioquest.com. 

Robin Skye to Lead NYMF's Next Link Project's 210 AMLENT AVENUE

Welcome to the Hamptons - where guests are gathering at the old Jordan estate at 210 Amlent Avenue for Fourth of July Festivities with their host, Mrs. Jordan, a retired actress.  But one unexpected guest, Judah, a young poet, is about to ignite a firestorm of events. In his search for the truth, he will unearth long kept secrets that will lead to unexpected consequences.  210 Amlent Avenue is one of the 10 Next Link musicals chosen and to be presented as part of the 12th edition of The New York Musical Theatre Festival, which starts July 7-27.

BURIED CHILD with Ed Harris and Amy Madigan, Cynthia Nixon-Helmed STEVE & More Set for The New Group's 2015-16 Season

The New Group has announced three productions for its 2015-2016 Season.  The company's new season kicks off in Summer 2015 with the Off-Broadway premiere of Philip Ridley's Mercury Fur, directed by Scott Elliott.  The season continues in Fall 2015 with the world premiere of Mark Gerrard's Steve, with director Cynthia Nixon returning to The New Group, where she made her directorial debut earlier this year.  In Winter 2016, Scott Elliott directs Sam Shepard's Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Buried Child, featuring Ed Harris and Amy Madigan, who return to The New Group with this production.

Just last night, The New Group featured original cast members from the company's critically-acclaimed 2005 hit revival of Hurlyburly: Bobby Cannavale, Josh Hamilton, Ethan Hawke, Parker Posey and Wallace Shawn, with Marin Ireland and Amanda Seyfried. Directed by Scott Elliott, this benefit reading took place at The Pershing Square Signature Center (The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre, 480 West 42nd Street).

The New Group has announced that Marin Ireland and Amanda Seyfried will join original cast members from the company's critically-acclaimed 2005 hit revival of Hurlyburly: Bobby Cannavale, Josh Hamilton, Ethan Hawke, Parker Posey and Wallace Shawn, in the previously announced one-night-only benefit reading of David Rabe's award-winning play. Directed by Scott Elliott, this benefit reading within The New Group's current 20th Anniversary Season takes place Sunday, April 26 at The New Group at The Pershing Square Signature Center (The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre, 480 West 42nd Street).
