The 25th anniversary celebration of GYPSY OF THE YEAR, the culmination of six weeks of extraordinary fundraising by 56 participating Broadway, Off-Broadway, and national touring companies, raised an amazing $4,343,234 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The grand total was announced Tuesday, December 10, at this year's GYPSY OF THE YEAR, which included an array of original dances, songs, and skits performed by more than 250 'gypsies,' the most talented singers and dancers in the ensembles of Broadway and Off-Broadway shows. Today Contemporary musical theatre songwriters Douglas Lyons and Ethan Pakchar have digitally released their debut album, '#Love (Live).

New composing team LYONS & PAKCHAR will digitally release their debut album #Love December 2nd! #Love ,an 11-song album that mixes pop, R&B and theatre, explores 'the good, bad and awkward roller coasters in human relationships. The two began collaborating while touring with 1st National Tour of The Book of Mormon. Douglas Lyons and actor onstage and Ethan Pakchar a guitarist in the orchestra.

Tonight, September 30, DIVA hosts Broadway star Amber Iman. Iman is currently starring as Nina Simone in Soul Doctor at the Circle in the Square Theater. She also appeared off Broadway in A Civil War Christmas and RENT.

MadBromance Productions announced today that final casting has been set for the 29-hour reading of JAWBREAKER: THE MUSICAL on Thursday, September 26thand Friday, September 27th at 3p.m. With a book by Darren Stein who wrote and directed the 1999 film, JAWBREAKER has music and lyrics by Jeff Thomson and Jordan Mann (Trails), choreography by Shea Sullivan (The Big Gay Musical), musical supervision by James Sampliner (Legally Blonde, The Wedding Singer) and is directed by Gabriel Barre (The Wild Party).

New York Theatre Barn will release the new fully orchestrated demo recording of Small Town Story (formerly Speargrove Presents), a new musical commissioned by NYTB, in a concert sung by most of the demo cast and band at its signature new musical development platform NYTB in the D-Lounge on Monday, September 23, 2013 at 7:30 PM at the Daryl Roth Theatre in New York City. There was an all star concert featuring the Divas: Kelly King, Alexa Green and Marissa Rosen, Saycon Sengbloh, N'Kenge, Anna Harrington, Kate Rockwell, Kat Hennessey and Rachelle Rak.
