Producer Daryl Roth announces that following a sold out developmental run last spring, THE DIVINE SISTER, the new comedy written by and starring Charles Busch, directed by Carl Andress, will transfer to the SoHo Playhouse (15 Vandam Street) featuring the entire original company: Alison Fraser, Amy Rutberg, Jennifer Van Dyck, Jonathan Walker, and Julie Halston.

Robert Foxworth plays King Lear and Bruce Turk the Fool in Shakespeare's tragedy, directed by Festival Artistic Director Adrian Noble. The crowns are swapped in Alan Bennett's The Madness of George III, also helmed by Noble, where Miles Anderson will play King George III and Foxworth will play Dr. Willis. The Festival also includes Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew directed by Ron Daniels with Jonno Roberts and Emily Swallow as the two sparring lovers.

According to reports from Whatsonstage, Ruthie Henshall will star alongside Alison Steadman, Robert Bathurst, and Hermione Norris in BLITHE SPIRIT which is set to play at Bath's Theatre Royal from November 3-13, the Brighton Theatre Royal from November 16-21, Cambridge's Arts Theatre from November 22-27, the Milton Keynes Theatre from February 14-19 and the Richmond Theatre from February 21-26. The production is then set to play the Apollo Theatre beginning March 2.

Richard Bean's revised version of Carlo Goldini's A Servant of Two Masters will feature James Corden in the title role, reports Whatsonstage.com. The production, directed by Nicolas Hynter, is scheduled to open in May at the National Theatre's Lyttleton Theatre.

In response to extraordinary ticket demand and with the initial 9-week run already substantially sold out, TimeLine Theatre Company announces a 6-week extension of its critically acclaimed Chicago premiere of The Farnsworth Invention by Aaron Sorkin, directed by Nick Bowling.
