The production makes its Washington, D.C. premiere at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts for three weeks from October 6 - 25, 2015 in the Kennedy Center Opera House. With a book by Tony and Academy Award-nominee Douglas McGrath, direction by Marc Bruni, and choreography by Josh Prince, Beautiful features a stunning array of beloved songs written by Gerry Goffin/Carole King and Barry Mann/Cynthia Weil. The press opening night is Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 7 p.m.

Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) today announces the cast for the new holiday classic, Elf The Musical, running Dec. 6 - 22 at Hobby Center's Sarofim Hall.
The evening was hosted by Andrew Kober and Danielle Wade. Andrew Kober made his Broadway debut in the 2009 Tony Award winning revival of Hair after originating the roles of Father and Margaret Mead in the Shakespeare in the Park production. He also played the roles in the West End revival in 2010. He has also appeared on television in 'Boardwalk Empire,' 'Pan Am' and 'House of Cards.'
Tonight, August 5th at 8pm, Sam Carner and Derek Gregor's Barely Legal Showtune Extravaganza V will play (le) Poisson Rouge (158 Bleecker Street). This marks the fifth installment of the four-?time sold-?out concert series by the Richard Rodgers Award winning composers.

The nominations are out for the 11th Annual New Hampshire Theatre Awards. Like Broadway has the Tony Awards, NH has the NHTA's. Those awards will be handed out on Saturday January 26th at the Stockbridge Theatre on the campus of Pinkerton Academy in Derry, New Hampshire. The award ceremony begins at 7pm.

Songwriting duo Sam Carner and Derek Gregor-the team behind the award-winning NYMF hit Unlock'd-will showcase their songs on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 8pm in a concert titled Carner & Gregor's Barely Legal Showtune Extravaganza. Hosted by Hair's Andrew Kober and Avenue Q's Sarah Stiles, the event will bring together nine of the most-talented musical theatre students currently studying at schools across the U.S. The concert will take place at the new East Village venue DROM (85 Avenue A between 5th & 6th Streets).
