Quentin Tarantino's DJANGO UNCHAINED Releases Motion Picture Soundtrack Today

The Weinstein Company, Quentin Tarantino and Loma Vista Recordings previously announced the release of Quentin Tarantino'S DJANGO UNCHAINED ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK. DJANGO UNCHAINED marks the first time that Academy Award-winning and Grammy Award nominated director Quentin Tarantino has collaborated with artists to create original music for use in the film and original motion picture soundtrack. The soundtrack will be in stores and at all digital retailers today, December 18th.

TV One Announces January 2013 Programming Line-Up

TV One announced today its programming line-up for January 2013. Docu-series Find Our Missing and Unsung both return with new seasons, and a special encore episode of Parole Diaries will air with extended commentary from parole officer Denise Jackson.

Orlando Shakespeare Theater's Next Offerings Will Be OTHELLO and SENSE AND SENSIBILITY

Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with UCF (http://www.orlandoshakes.org) presents two treasured and cherished classics - William Shakespeare's Othello and Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility - in rotating repertory. These works will be presented in the Margeson Theater at the Lowndes Shakespeare Center. Ticket prices range from $17-$40 with discounts available for students, active military, and groups.

STC To Bring FELA! Back to D.C. Audiences

The Shakespeare Theatre Company kick-starts the new year with the return of FELA! After a sold-out run in 2011, the hit Broadway musical returns to STC's Sidney Harman Hall (610 F Street NW) from January 29 - February 10, 2013. Presented by Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, and Ruth and Stephen Hendel, FELA! is directed and choreographed by Tony Award® winner Bill T. Jones. Adesola Osakalumi will star as Kuti alongside a cast combining the toast of Broadway and members of the American and European casts.

Pixar's BRAVE Among 2012 Annie Award Nominations

Nominations for the 40th Annual Annie Awards have been announced. Winners will be announced during the awards ceremony which will take place on February 2 at UCLA's Royce Hall.

DJANGO UNCHAINED marks the first time that Academy Award®-winning and Grammy® Award nominated director Quentin Tarantino has collaborated with artists to create original music for use in the film and original motion picture soundtrack. The soundtrack will be in stores and at all digital retailers on Tuesday, December 18th. The film release of DJANGO UNCHAINED will be on December 25, 2012 by The Weinstein Company in the U.S. and by Sony Pictures internationally.

Back Lot Music releases A Very Eureka Christmas digitally today, November 20th and through other digital music outlets later in the month. The album features composer Bear McCreary's (The Walking Dead, Battlestar Galactica) score for the two beloved Christmas episodes of the SyFy series Eureka: "O Little Town" and "Do You See What I See."

ABC's JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE Celebrates 3rd Annual 'National Unfriend Day'

In 2010 Jimmy Kimmel declared November 17 National Unfriend Day, "NUD," a national holiday dedicated to giving Facebook users a guilt-free opportunity to "unfriend" people who aren't actually friends. In honor of the 3rd annual "NUD" celebration, Kimmel is encouraging viewers to evaluate their Facebook "friendships" and unfriend those unworthy of friend status. 

MET MUSEUM PRESENTS Announces Remaining 2012 Events

On Friday, November 30, The Metropolitan Museum of Art will offer a live webcast of the first of five performances of an updated version of the 16th-century Chinese Kunqu opera masterpiece Peony Pavilion that will take place in the Met's Astor Court, the courtyard modeled on a 17th-century Chinese garden. This 70-minute version of the opera has been developed and directed by celebrated composer Tan Dun, with a new score by Mr. Tan and choreography by Huang Doudou, one of China's most prominent dancers. It will be performed by Zhang Jun, one of China's most respected Kunqu performers, and the Shanghai Zhang Jun Art Center Company.
