Chanel Jenkins

ChanelJ host, singer, actress was born in Brooklyn, New York. She has performed in various Off and off offBroadway plays such as Don’t Turn your back on the one’s You Love” by Omar Moore and “Why didn’t Jesus get married” by Julius Pearson. The singer songwriter and aspiring actress has been singing since age ten. She has performed in various places such as singing for National Peace Officer Week and also being one of the finalist for Bellevue Idol in the hospital competition, while working as a Hospital police officer for seven years. In addition she participated for American Idol and competed in the second round. ChanelJ has also appeared as an extra in Spike Lee’s movie “He got game with Denzel Washington. You can catch this upcoming star in her spare time swimming, writing and reciting poetry.
