Hope Vanderburg has been performing and pursuing her love for musical theatre since she was 6 years old. Her professional credits include TUTS: The Music Man (River City Kid), A Christmas Story (Waitress/Ensemble), Mary Poppins (Ensemble), Oliver! (Ensemble). TUTS/Lythgoe Family Panto: Sleeping Beauty And Her Winter Knight (Children's Ensemble). TUTS/HSMT: Once On This Island (Ensemble). She is also very involved in TUTS Humphreys School Of Musical Theatre, TUTS The River Performing and Visual Arts Center, and her high school theatre department.

What made Negret's performance so special is that she isn't just any teenager singing the Queen of Soul - Negret is a student at The River Performing and Visual Arts Center, Theatre Under the Stars' arts education program for children with all types and levels of disabilities.
