Geena M Ravella

Having grown up in her mother’s dance studio in Schenectady, New York, the performing arts has been her passion from an early age. After studying at the New School for Drama in New York City, Geena moved to Sarasota to begin her career. Since then she has been in numerous musicals and plays both professionally and community. Some of her favorite roles are: Mimi in Rent, Morales in A Chorus Line, Rumpleteazer in CATS and Serena in Legally Blonde. Geena has also acted in numerous commercials and was the face of Treborstyle jewelry. Her on screen credits include Burn Notice and Magic Mike among others. Recently she has been the choreographer for Peter Pan and Jesus Christ Superstar at Manatee Players and for Mary Poppins at Venice Theatre. Her choreography in the theatre has also turned the head of Tony Award winner Ben Vereen, as she is now the choreographer for Hair at Venice Theatre alongside Vereen who will be directing.
