Symphonic Underground, Floridas only 25-piece nerd orchestra, presents an evening of music inspired by video games. The first half of the rogram features original compositions by brilliant composers under the age of 30. These young artisans will take you on a perilous journey where you will fight monsters, fall in love, journey through space, and maybe even save the world! After intermission, the concerts headliner is an epic Final Fantasy VI suite with music by Nobuo Uematsu (arranged by Rebecca Tripp) accompanied by visuals above the stage. Released in 1994, the game has sold over 4 million physical copies worldwide and its soundtrack is hailed as one of the great masterpieces of our time.
