After an acclaimed and sold-out run of Anton Chekhov's rarely produced short stories, award-wining Russian director Aleksey Burago returns with Uncle Vanya, one of the most beloved comedies in the Russian repertoire.

A once celebrated academic whose career and health are in decline, Professor Serebryakov returns to his late spouse's country estate with his glamorous young wife, where they bring the lives of everyone around them to utter chaos. Join The Russian Arts Theater & Studio as characters desperately fumble their way through love triangles, misunderstandings and the search for salvation.

Staged at the unusual and historic Stanton Street Shul, this exquisite production features the striking set design of Olia Rogova.

Uncle Vanya runs from Oct. 29 through Nov. 20, 2013, Tues, Weds, Thurs & Sat at 8pm, and Sundays at 7PM at the Stanton Street Shul.

Tickets for Uncle Vanya are onsale here. For more information about the show, visit russiantheater.org.
