STEVE: A DOCU-MUSICAL features music by Colin Summers and Andrew Eckel. The show was written by Colin Summers with lyrics by Steve.

Colin and Steve have never met. Colin is a twenty-something musician living in Brooklyn. Steve is a retired railway clerk in Australia who writes eccentric books, lyrics, scripts and countless emails to Colin. Over the last five years, they have written over 100 songs together... and passed over 6,000 emails between them.

STEVE is a deeply personal, widely accessible and delightfully entertaining show combining documentary stylings with hilariously clever songs co-written by Colin and Steve. This story challenges our preconceptions of what it means to be an artist, cyber-identity and cyber-friendship.

Colin Summers is a Brooklyn based musician, composer, actor and writer with a strong interest in creating interdisciplinary performance. Colin has had a hand in creating nationally touring theater with Movement Workshop Group, and done acting and music composition for acclaimed indie films The Unspeakable Act and Swim Little Fish Swim. Colin also writes, records and performs regularly with his band Toys And Tiny Instruments.

Nessa Norich is a Brooklyn-based theatre artist. Since graduating Lecoq in 2010, Nessa has collaborated on over a ten original works of theatre internationally, at such notable venues as the Battersea Arts Center & Southbank Center in London, Det Ny Theatre in Copenhagen, The Louvre in Paris, the Den of Muses in New Orleans and Ars Nova and Dixon Place in New York City. Nessa is also co-founder of London-based CRANK THEATRE. www.NessaNorich.com

STEVE: A DOCU-MUSICAL originally premiered to a sold-out audience at Ars Nova's ANT FEST.
