Luigi Creatore To Discuss AN ERROR OF THE MOON On WOR 8/18

Playwright Luigi Creatore, currently represented Off-Broadway with his new play AN ERROR OF THE MOON, will be Valerie Smaldone's special guest on her new WOR Radio program "Valerie's New York" this Wednesday, August 18th at 11 a.m. The interview can be heard live at AN ERROR OF THE MOON, a speculation of jealousy, madness and the brothers Booth, began performances August 13th for a limited engagement through October 10th at The Beckett Theatre at Theatre Row, 410 West 42nd Street. The official Opening Night is Monday, August 30th. Under the direction of Kim Weild, the cast of AN ERROR OF THE MOON features Margaret Copeland, Erik Heger, Andrew Veenstra, and BrIan Wallace.

AN ERROR OF THE MOON is a fictional portrait of the brothers Edwin and John Wilkes Booth, the rockstars of their day. Edwin tells his tale of a man consumed by sexual jealousy, of bitter sibling rivalry, and the mad obsession that sparked the assassination of Abraham Lincoln.

Playwright Luigi Creatore has spent most of his working life as a record producer, creating hit records for Sarah Vaughan, Jimmie Rodgers, Perry Como, Sam Cooke, and many others. As a lyricist, he wrote a number of hit songs including the megahits "Can't Help Falling in Love" for Elvis Presley and "The Lion Sleeps Tonight." Luigi was represented on Broadway (book and lyrics) with Maggie Flynn starring Shirley Jones and Jack Cassidy, Off-Broadway with Smile, Smile, Smile and the last two seasons Off-Broadway with the comedy Flamingo Court.

The playing schedule for AN ERROR OF THE MOON is Tuesday at 7 pm, Wednesday through Friday at 8 pm, Saturday at 2 pm & 8 pm, and Sunday at 3 pm. Tickets are $50 and are available through 212-239-6200. A limited number of $20 Student Rush tickets (2 ticket limit) are available day of performance at the Theatre Row box office.
