Totally J'Blammee'd Music is proud to present the revamped, expanded, and acclaimed one-man improvisational tribute show, johnpaulgeorgeringo, starring Dave Jay. Dave Jay portrays each of the Beatles and performs Beatle hits as well as his acclaimed original Beatle-influenced songs. During the show, the audience can ask any question of any Beatle as Dave Jay, armed with his vast knowledge of Beatle history, morphs into characterizations for each of the Fab Four. The show won "Outstanding Solo Show" honors in the 2008 NY International Fringe Festival. This current production is expanded to include more music by The Beatles.

" His impersonations are more than just vocal distinctions-Jay captures the angle at which the severely nearsighted Lennon held his head, and hair-tossing and other charming-while-insecurity-revealing bits of McCartney's body language...[are] spot on. - Stuart Miller. AMERICAN THEATRE

Dave Jay:

Whether charming national television audiences on ABC-TV's "The View" as their Original Song Contest Winner, or writing music licensed by MTV for "The Osbournes," Dave Jay injects his original brand of upbeat, melodic, lyric-driven, jazz-tinged pop/rock (a fresh genre he created, known as J'BLAMMO POPTM) into every performance. Dave Jay was also honored locally as a Finalist in The Connecticut Comedy Festival and as a Special Guest Performer in Shure Microphone's Best Singer/Songwriter in New York Competition.

Dave Jay performs his J'BLAMMO POPTM music, which has been compared to Elvis Costello meeting the Beatles in a tug of war with The Beach Boys, at clubs, parties, mental facilities, hospitals, and bars throughout the tri-state area. In the past several years Dave Jay has logged hundreds of performances along the eastern seaboard, from New England to Key West, FL, including electric, unplugged, solo and group concerts. Dave Jay's latest CD is "Songs for Today's Attention Span," a collection of thoughtful, catchy J'BLAMMO POPTM tunes co-produced with Lenny Monachello.

In addition to writing and producing original educational songs for Ignite!Learning.com, whose animated shorts are used in the classroom setting, Dave Jay has also released a debut CD of children's music, "Balloon To The Moon," which is on sale (and has sold out twice) at Books of Wonder, New York City's largest independent children's book store. Dave Jay has also performed for kids of all ages and donates his time and music to organizations such as The Starlight Foundation, Hospital Audiences, Inc., Music That Heals, United Cerebral Palsy, Brooklyn Services for Autistic Citizens, and Musicians On Call.
