Danny Bernardy to Join Off-Broadway's MY BIG GAY ITALIAN WEDDING This Winter

Danny Bernardy is set to take on the role of leading male "Andrew Polinski" in the hit Off-Broadway comedy "My Big Gay Italian Wedding" opposite creator Anthony J. Wilkinson. Currently being played by Brandon Goins, Bernardy is set to step in for the winter season beginning January 10th every Saturday at 8pm.

Danny returns to St Luke's after originating the role of Buck in the hit Cougar the Musical directed by Lynne Taylor-Corbett. Having just returned to NY after playing Tony Whitcomb in a side-splitting six month engagement with the Kennedy Center company of Shear Madness. Lynne Taylor-Corbett), Love's Labour Lost (NY Classical Theatre), Phaedra's Love (Cherry Lane), Every Girl Gets Her Man (SoHo Playhouse), Other NY: The Black Dahlia at the York, 24 NY Theater Workshop, Distant Thunder Amas Musical Theatre, directed by Shaun and Lynne Taylor-Corbett, as well as engagements at Don't Tell Mama, 54 Below, and the Laurie Beechman. Regional highlights: Maple and Vine (American Conservatory Theater), Moon Over Buffalo (Cape Playhouse, starring Gary Beach), Spamalot (Florida Studio Theatre), The Underpants (Florida Studio Theatre), Picasso at the Lapin Agile (Delaware Theatre Co), Vincent in Brixton (Virginia Stage Co.). TV credits include ABC's One Life to Live (recurring), CBS' As the World Turns alongside national commercial and voiceover work. Film: includes the critically acclaimed Curious Thing trilogy. Danny is a core member of the New York based One Year Lease Theater Company which is known for premiering new work and for it's annual artistic residency in northern Greece.

Presented by Bianco Productions, My Big Gay Italian Wedding is directed by Emmy Award-winning director Sonia Blangiardo ("All My Children", "One Life To Live, "As the World Turns", "Tainted Dreams") and star its creator Anthony J. Wilkinson who originated the role of Anthony Pinnunziato back in November of 2003. Both shows are General Managed by 22Q Entertainment.
