Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute Band Comes To Lime Kiln

By:

On Friday, June 11 at 7:30pm, Lime Kiln hosts a Southern Rock night with Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band Second Helping. Founded in 1988 in Tampa, Florida by Chris McCallister. Second Helping was the first Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band in the United States.

Lime Kiln Executive Director Kim Renz described the band: "Second Helping is the longest running Lynyrd Skynyrd salute concert in the United States. Their fans will tell you that our shows bring them back to the 1970's when life was not so complicated. According to the band, they are dedicated to bringing Ronnie Van Zant's music to audiences the way they remember it. The band is much more than a Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band; it is a showcase for classic Skynyrd music. Expect a big show, a big sound, and an evening that will bring you back to a time of youth, fun, and hope."

"Lime Kiln is known for concerts, original theatre and a good time. Several events this summer are designed for just that," said Renz. "We want everyone to come, kick back and enjoy great music."
