CAT Theatre to Stage MOON OVER BUFFALO

Chamberlayne Actors Theatre (CAT Theatre) will present MOON OVER BUFFALO by Ken Ludwig, running March 18 - April 3, 2016.

CAT Theatre and MOON OVER BUFFALO director Lauren Whitley are pleased to announce the cast for this upcoming comedic farce. George and Charlotte Hay (Tom Eichler and Kathy Northrop Parker) cling to the near-stardom that was once theirs even though they are now performing in repertory and find themselves in Buffalo. Eichler and Parker present the stress and commitment of a long-married couple who also work together day after day. Daughter Rosalind (Meg Carnahan) left the troupe and ended a romance with fellow actor Paul (Travis Williams), some time ago, but has returned with her fiancé Howard (Aza Raine) to "meet the parents". Troupe member Eileen (Brandy Sutherland) drops a bombshell, and lawyer and friend Richard (Jim Dyk) offers a solution to Charlotte. Trying to hold things together is wardrobe mistress Ethel (Molly Sweeney Ort), Charlotte's mother, an acerbic old dear who isn't afraid to speak her mind. Then they find out that Frank Capra is in town and will attend a matinee. Is this their second chance?

This performance includes strong language and the on-stage use of a firearm.
