Auditions for America’s Sexiest Couple by Ken Levine

An adult comedy about two actors who were “America’s Sexiest Couple”on a popular 90s sitcom, reunited for the first time in 25 years at the funeral of one of their co-stars. They face a lifetime of unresolved issues, longings, resentments, and regrets. Plus, the network wants to reboot the show. Career and personal aspirations collide. Professionally and personally, where do they go from here?
AUDITION DATES: Monday, January 12 (6pm – 9pm) and Tuesday, January 13 (1pm – 4pm)
REHEARSAL DATES: February 2 – March 14 (2- 3 times weekly. Specific days/times to be determined)
TECH WEEK: March 16 – 19
PERFORMANCES: Three weekends March 20 – April 5
All rehearsals/performances will be at Empire Stage, 1140 N Flagler Dr, Ft Lauderdale 33304
AVAILABLE ROLES:
Susan White – 60s, female identifying, an attractive, outspoken, good-hearted actress. ($300 stipend plus profit sharing)
Bellboy – 20s, male identifying, an unapologetic millennial.
($100 stipend plus profit sharing)
Intimacy Note: America’s Sexiest Couple includes scenes involving physical intimacy between the lead characters (Susan and Craig) including: Embracing and extended hugging, kissing and a passionate make-out sequence; partial undressing (implied, no nudity); simulated sexual activity under sheets in dim lighting (no nudity, no activity shown), post-intimacy physical affection (kissing and cuddling). All intimacy will be carefully choreographed and supervised by a Certified Intimacy Coordinator in a professional and respectful environment and will follow industry best practices to ensure performer comfort, consent, and safety.
