Infinitheatre will present the Quebec English language premiere of the award-winning play, The Leisure Society (La Societe de loisirs), by Francois Archambault, translated by Bobby Theodore, through March 25 at Bain St-Michel. Along with director Ellen David, the cast and design team features Montreal's finest theatre artists from both the English and French sectors including actors Daniel Brochu (presently in Scientific Americans at the Segal Centre), Catherine De Seve (previously seen in Dangerous Liaisons at the Segal Centre and long-time member of L'auberge du chien noir on Radio-Canada), Sheena Gaze-Deslandes (The Daily Miracle, Infinitheatre) and Howard Rosenstein (hot off his praised portrayal of lawyer Hugh Rose in Ars Poetica, Infinitheatre).

English musical theatre is alive and well in Montreal and it's surrounding areas. The Hudson Music Club (HMC), in it's 60th anniversary year, presents 42ND STREET. HMC is a non-profit, volunteer based organization dedicated to bringing quality musical entertainment to Hudson and the surrounding Montreal area. This club is one of the few community theatre groups in the entire Montreal area that is devoted 100% to English language Broadway musical theatre.

French Version of NEXT TO NORMAL to Play at RIDEAU VERT

The Devil dreams of returning to heaven and to God's side. Title 66 Productions invites Montreal to attend the trial of the Devil, presented at Theatre Rouge in the Conservatoire d'art dramatique de Montreal through March 4th. If he can prove that humanity is indeed culpable for many of his alleged crimes, he may return to paradise forever. From the creative mind of Clive Barker, master engineer of fantasy and horror, The History of the Devil tells the satiric tale of the Devil's trial at the hands of the human race, with whom he's shared the world for millennia.
