HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING will play the Wilson Center for the Arts, Friday & Saturday, July 26th & 27th at 8:00PM; Friday & Saturday, August 2nd & 3rd at 8:00PM; and Sunday, August 4th at 2:00PM. The Summer Musical Theatre Experience (SMTE) provides theatre opportunities to 7th-12th graders in the First Coast area and allows them to work hands-on with some of the highest recognized local and regional theatre professionals.

This year, SMTE participants will perform How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying for five performances only! A satire of big business and all it holds sacred, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying follows the rise of J. Pierrepont Finch, who uses a little handbook called "How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" to climb the corporate ladder from lowly window washer to high powered executive, tackling suchfamiliar, but potent, dangers as the aggressively compliant "company man," the office party, backstabbing co-workers, caffeine addiction, and, of course, true love.

Rob Ashford's 50th Anniversary revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying opened on Broadway in March 2011 and starred Daniel Radcliffe of Harry Potter fame. Radcliffe played lead role J. Pierrepont Finch through January 1, 2012 and was succeeded by Glee star Darren Criss for three weeks and then Nick Jonas of The Jonas Brothers.
