When Sam meets his grandfather for the first time in a psychiatric hospital, he is seduced by a jolly old man who is taken to Mark Twain and who tells funny stories. Twainheart is a meeting between two generations, looking for identity. How have the courage and passion to his desires and to assert itself, despite the pressures of a society that demands conformity?
