The producer will run all aspects of these NYC OPEN Auditions. Equity audition procedures will NOT be in effect, and no Equity Monitor will be provided.

Please prepare a cut (16-32 bars) of an 80s pop song with an emphasis on comedy.
Please bring a picture & resume, stapled back-to-back.
Seeking (all roles/parts are available (i.e. not yet offered and accepted):
Theatre’s casting notes: “ALL ethnicities are highly encouraged to audition. Seeking a MULTI-CULTURAL cast of performers with great pop-rock singing voices and comedic ability.”
Kira (Clio):
20s-30s. The youngest of eight sisters. Good-looking and perky. Killer pop/rock voice (pop soprano with strong mix to A). Must be able to rock a toga. Skilled comedienne. Great mover. A belting Kristen Wiig on roller skates.
Sonny Malone:
20s-30s. Good-looking, energetic, naïve. Strong pop/rock voice (pop baritenor with strong extension or reinforced falsetto to E). Must be comfortable in 80s short-shorts. Great mover and comedic ability. James Franco meets Michael Cera. Must roller skate.
Danny Maguire / Zeus:
Male, 40s-60s. Danny: Good-looking, straight-talking businessman with lots of heart. Frank Sinatra at his best. Extremely charming and funny. Dance ability a plus. Does not need to roller skate. Baritone.
Calliope / Aphrodite:
Played as a woman (seeking male or female actor for this track). Calliope is the sidekick to her evil sister Melpomene. Seeking skilled comedian with strong voice (rock pop belt to Eb). Seeking ALL TYPES. Does not need to roller skate.
Melpomene / Medusa:
Played as a woman (seeking male or female actor for this track). Melpomene is one half of the sinister sister duo, opposite Calliope. Conniving and evil, she gives herself much more credit than she deserves. Crystal Conners meets Bette Midler, with a dash of RuPaul. Seeking a skilled comedian with a strong pop/rock voice (rock pop belt to Eb). Seeking ALL TYPES, including straight-up drag queens who can sing. Does not need to roller skate.
Erato and Euterpe:
Women, 20s-30s. Attractive. Strong pop/rock voices (pop/rock soprano, alto) and great musicality needed. Must be excellent dancers with very strong comedic ability. Tumbling, instruments, magic tricks, extreme flexibility, clowning all pluses. Can shake it down like the “Solid Gold” dancers. Must roller skate.
Thalia and Terpsichore:
Men, 20s-30s. Attractive. Strong pop/rock voices (pop/rock tenor, baritone) and great musicality needed. Must be excellent dancers with very strong comedic ability. Tumbling, instruments, magic tricks, extreme flexibility, clowning all pluses. Can shake it down like the “Solid Gold” dancers. Must roller skate. Tap-dancing ability a plus.
