LITTLE BEAR RIDGE ROAD

Written by Samuel D. Hunter
Directed by Rob Ruggiero

Rehearsals Begin: 9/15/26
Performance Run: 10/8/26 – 11/8/26

SYNOPSIS

Set on the remote edge of a small Idaho town, this gripping new play reunites a razor-tongued aunt and her long-estranged nephew, when circumstances suddenly force them back into each other’s lives. With a crumbling house to sell and years of unresolved history between them, sparks fly, tempers flare, and buried wounds resurface.

SEEKING

  • Sarah: female, 60s; lives alone on the outskirts of Troy, Idaho, and enjoys not being around people. An abrasive enigma—independent, blunt about what she wants to be blunt about, but holds her cards tightly. Works as a nurse at a hospital, but her shifts are being reduced. Hiding an illness from everyone in her life.
  • Ethan: male, early to mid-30s; a writer who doesn’t do a lot of writing. Smart but stuck. Recently broke up with an abusive boyfriend and has traveled back to Idaho to settle the affairs of his late drug-addicted father. Easy to get upset and in a somewhat depressive state.
  • James: male, late 20s or early 30s; bookish, an intellectual from a higher socio-economic background than the other characters. Working on his masters in astrophysics at the University of Idaho when he meets Ethan. Will double as voice-only character Kenny (male/male-identifying, 50s/60s).
  • Paulette: female, 40s or 50s; will double as voice-only character Vickie (female/female-identifying, 60s).

  • The Bartender: 60s-70s; the straight man for many jokes but also able to communicate directly to the audience with subtle, simple looks. Willing to go on whatever journey the patrons bring him on. A great listener and gracious at giving the stage to other characters without distracting.
  • The Man: approx. 40s; versatile; will double as multiple Christmas characters who have now aged. Able to go from one very distinct character to another. Impeccable comic timing.
  • The Woman: approx. 40s; versatile; will double as multiple Christmas characters who have now aged. Able to go from one very distinct character to another. Impeccable comic timing.

TOPDOG/UNDERDOG

Written by Suzan-Lori Parks
Director: TBD

Rehearsals Begin: 1/12/27
Performance Run: 2/4/27 – 3/7/27

SYNOPSIS

This darkly comic fable of brotherly love and family identity tells the story of two brothers, Lincoln and Booth, names given to them as a joke by their father. Haunted by the past and their obsession with the street con game three-card monte, the brothers navigate ambition, dreams, rivalry, and deep family secrets to uncover the surprising truths that have shaped their lives.

SEEKING

  • Lincoln: male, late 30s to early 40s, Black; the elder brother, weary and introspective, carrying the responsibility of survival after years hustling on the street. Grounded, world-wise, haunted by choices made and paths not taken. Carries authority but also deep exhaustion.
  • Booth: male, early 30s, Black; the younger brother, sharp but insecure, carrying the weight of abandonment and family trauma. Street-smart, brash, and fueled by the need to prove himself. Masks vulnerability with bravado; intensity can turn on a dime.

THE LEHMAN TRILOGY

Written by Stefano Massini, adapted by Ben Power

Performance Run: 4/1/27 – 5/2/27

SYNOPSIS

On a cold September morning in 1844, a young man from Bavaria steps onto a New York dock dreaming of a new life in America. Soon his two brothers join him—and an American epic begins. Spanning two centuries of family history, the play traces the humble beginnings, extraordinary successes, and eventual collapse of the financial institution that would help bring the global economy to its knees.

SEEKING

(EMERGENCY REPLACEMENTS ONLY)

THESE ROLES ARE CAST

  • Henry Lehman: male, 30s-50s, German Jewish; an immigrant from Bavaria, the eldest brother, the first in the family to immigrate. A go-getter, an entrepreneur, driver of early success. Dies young, at 33. Will double as multiple other characters of various ages, backgrounds, and genders spanning 1844–2008.
  • Emmanuel Lehman: male, 30s-50s, German Jewish; an immigrant from Bavaria, the middle brother, hot-headed and intelligent. Takes pride in every business venture and often conflicts with his older brother. Will double as multiple other characters spanning 1844–2008.

BOTH

Written by Paloma Nozicka
Director: TBD

Rehearsals Begin: 5/11/27
Performance Run: 6/3/27 – 7/3/27

SYNOPSIS

Xochi is dealing with a lot: a difficult pregnancy, a new relationship, and the strain of navigating life within her close-knit Mexican American family—still grappling with the disappearance of her twin brother more than a year ago. As she struggles to keep her footing, the impossible happens—Sebastian suddenly returns. Her family is overjoyed, but Xochi is not so sure. Where has he been? And why does this version of her brother feel so different from the one she remembers?

SEEKING

  • Xochi: female, mid-30s, Mexican; “black cat” energy. An anti-hero—more vulnerable than she lets on. Sebastian’s twin (older by 5 minutes). Funny, honest.
  • Sebastian: male, mid-30s, Mexican; Xochi’s twin. Calm, funny, sometimes unreadable. A sadness beneath the surface. Trying.
  • Sam: male, 30s-40s, white; a “golden retriever” energy—not dumb, just genuinely nice. “I got this” energy; “I can take care of you” strength. Juan’s best friend from high school.
  • Angela: female, 60s, Mexican; Juan and the twins’ mom. Sharp, elegant, matter-of-fact. Genuinely terrifying when she wants to be. Grieving and desperate for hope.
  • Cynthia: female, 20s-30s; the “idealized” version of Xochi. On the surface not the brightest bulb, but deceptively wise—maybe a psychic. Warm, grieving, desperate for hope.
  • Juan: male, 30s-40s, Mexican; the twins’ older brother. Cop energy (not actually a cop). Loud, mean, grieving.

73 SECONDS

Written by Jared Mezzocchi
Directed by Aya Ogawa

Performance Run: 8/3/27 – 8/29/27

SYNOPSIS

Multimedia artist Jared Mezzocchi tells the true story of his relationship with his mother after she is invited by NASA to go into outer space. What begins as a personal inquiry becomes a far-reaching exploration of family, memory, and long-term catastrophe. Using analog technology from the 1980s to create a live documentary, this inventive new work asks how we piece together the past, especially when it resists being remembered.

SEEKING

(EMERGENCY REPLACEMENTS ONLY)

THIS ROLE IS CAST

  • Jared: male, 40ish; grew up on a farm, used to run cross country, prefers wearing plaid. Loves thinking about outer space, the universe, and fate. Grew up around storytellers and is now trying to tell his own stories in front of audiences. A lover of technology with ease using slide carousels, overhead projectors, cameras, and cassette tape decks.
