SEEKING

Equity actors for roles in Theater at Monmouth’s 2026 season. This is a rotating repertory season; actors will be cast in at least two productions and must be available for the entirety of the contract dates. Theater at Monmouth does not hire on a show-by-show basis. Some roles will be understudied.

OTHER

An Equity monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition. Equity’s contracts prohibit discrimination; Equity encourages employers to promote inclusion and to invite performers of all ethnicities, gender identities, ages, and abilities — including performers with disabilities — to attend auditions. Auditions for the fall musical (not part of the summer repertory season) will be held at a later date. Always bring your Equity Membership card to auditions.

PREPARATION

Please prepare two contrasting monologues, at least one from Shakespeare, totaling no more than three minutes. We are dedicated to growing our connections with artists throughout Maine; please indicate in your email if you are based in Maine.
